The ranking is based on a survey involving over 15,000 individuals in the United States who hold insurance policies in one of five categories: homeowners, renters, auto, permanent life, or term life. Health insurance was excluded from consideration, given its frequent selection by employers. Respondents provided insights into their satisfaction with their insurance companies and their likelihood to recommend them. Ratings covered various criteria, including the quality of advice from agents, customer service, premium prices, company transparency, digital services, and claims service.
